Lecturer Researcher / Coach German Language in context

What will you do?
A team player with knowledge of, and experience in German as a foreign language (instruction, training, coaching). The core of the position is the provision of education, the coaching and guidance of international students. An added advantage for applicants would be having an interdisciplinary academic or professional background that is in line with the areas of expertise of the program.

Where will you be working
The vacancy is filled within the International Business program, part of the Academy of Business & Leadership. The Academy consists of International Business Administration (BA & IHRM), International Business (IB), Logistics Management (LM), Finance & Control, Finance, Taks and Advice, Accountancy (F&C, FTA, Acc). The courses are provided at the locations in Emmen and Leeuwarden. The current position is at International Business Leeuwarden. Our official language is English.

What is required?

• We are looking for a teacher who:
• Is in possession of a Master's Degree;
• Has had formal training in teaching German as a foreign language;
• Preferably has experience as a teacher in higher professional education and has the basic qualification of didactic competence (or is willing to obtain it);
• Preferably has experience in working in a blended learning environment;
• Preferably has experience with or knowledge of working in an internationally oriented company and is interculturally oriented;

Do you possess the following competencies?

• Preferably has an excellent command of spoken and written English (C1/C2 level)
• Is entrepreneurial, organization sensitive and result oriented;
• Has demonstrable qualities to work in a coaching and inspiring way;

Additionally:

• Depending on your knowledge and experience, the salary is a maximum of €6.359,47 (scale 11 Collective Labour Agreement for higher professional education) gross per month for a full-time position, excluding 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus. 
• This is a structural position and the contract is initially for 6 months.
• Your normal place of work is in Leeuwarden, but you must be willing to travel if the job requires it.
